I’m Oskar, Oskar Allerby.

I bought a real camera in 2006, my first digital SLR. Since then I’ve taken several thousands of photos. A lot of failures and some good. I try to capture a story in the image. One or several moments that tells a whole story. One day, one evening.

Before the photos I did music. I did short stories. I did poetry. Always trying to tell a story. I still love the music. Nowadays I just listen. But I try to do it a lot. Both live and recorded music. I also love taking photos of musicians performing. It’s something special in they’re eyes.

I live in Gothenburg, Sweden. It’s usually around here I take my photos. Some weeks I take several thousands and some weeks I do nothing. But I try to take the camera with me at least some day each week.

I also love to take portraits and weddings but I seldom post them on this blog. I will show more as soon as my portfolio is up and running.
